Within approximately a week of submitting the application, you will receive an email with your login information to the test registration website, Webassessor. At this point, please contact IHMM for instructions on the next steps by sending an email to Morgan Hyson at mhyson@ihmm.org. The contact person for participants is likely to change in the next month or two once IHMM hires a new Certification Manager

Earn Certification Points

IHMM Certification Maintenance Points (CMPs)

Full conference registration and attendance at all general sessions and eight technical sessions will earn you 20 contact hours (20 CMPs) of continuing education credit toward the points required by IHMM for each five-year recertification cycle. Additionally, participation in pre or post conference or professional training workshops earns you recertification credit at the rate of one CMP per contact hour of training. Certified Safety Professional Continuing Education (CEUs)

For certified safety professionals, CEUs are offered for Continuance of Certification (COC) points per Board of Certified Safety Professionals rules. A certificate of attendance will be provided upon request for up to 1 year after the conference.

ABIH Certification Maintenance Points

A certificate of attendance will be provided to submit to the American Board of Industrial Hygienists for the purposes of claiming CM credit.

BEAC Contact Hours

For CPEAs, full conference registration and attendance at all general sessions and eight technical sessions will earn you 20 contact hours of continuing professional development toward the 40 hours required by BEAC for each two-year cycle. Additionally, participation in preconference or post conference workshops earns you recertification credit at the rate of one CPD hour per contact hour of training.


Program and Pre-Conference Workshops

AHMP’s 30th anniversary National Conference is the premiere event at which to hear insights from dynamic keynote speakers, gain valuable knowledge at technical sessions, learn from exhibitors about new products and services, and build your nationwide network of professional colleagues.

By attending one of the two 3-day Pre-Conference Workshops, you will gain critical knowledge needed to help prep you for the CHMM or CDGP designation examination.
