Student Opportunities at the 2017 AHMP National Conference

Showcase Your Academic Research by Submitting a Poster

For the first time, AHMP is offering students the chance to demonstrate their academic work on an environmental, health, safety or security (EHS&S) topic.  Posters (24” x” 48” trifolds) will be displayed in the exhibit hall on Monday during exhibit hours and judged by AHMP Professional Members attending the conference. The most outstanding posters will be recognized with awards. Go to the conference “Call for Abstracts” site for details.

Submission Deadline: May 31, 2017. Submit Your Abstract Now.

  • Special Bonus: The first 10 students to submit a Poster Session entry will receive a complimentary electronic copy of AHMP’s Hazardous Materials Management Desk Reference. This publication is the most comprehensive and definitive resource for environmental professionals.

Discounted Student Registration Rates

AHMP realizes that money is tight for most students. As a result, it’s offering special rates of $100 per day for currently enrolled students who participate in the Poster Sessions and $125 per day for students who attend the conference but choose not to be part of the Poster Sessions.

  • Special Bonus: All students who attend the conference will receive a free one-year AHMP student membership!
